The New Year has blown in
- ! we've had very strong gales and hail storms here, tho'
the 1st day of the year was bright and dry. I wonder what
is in store for us all this year? we'll have to see what
it brings. A lot of locals who have moved away or have emigrated
overseas returned to their home-land to see in the New Year;
Waterville was very busy and it was lovely to see so many
houses lit up at this time of the year.....here at The Just
So Co we had most of our own clients back for the Festive
Season - keeps us all busy, thankfully!

One of Waterville's best
known inn keepers sadly lost his battle with a long illness
last week; Denis O'Carroll owned the Lobster Bar here in
Waterville with his wife Shiela and he will be greatly missed
by all of his regulars, who come from all corners of the
world...it's the end of an era for us all.
Sadly we had a second death
this week; one of our ghillies Denis Bennet was killed in
a road accident whilst travelling home from the funeral
of the above named. Denis was a lovely man, well liked by
all and he will be much missed.
The Lobster Bar will be
a quiet place with the loss of 2 of it's favourite people.

Some very disappointing
news just in - the Fastnet ferry service between Cork &
Swansea is to finish as of today.

The Just So Co, Caring For
Your Kerry Home....
The Just So Co has added
another excellent service to its range. This is a Homeminding
service, available to all homeowners whose main residence
is here in South West Kerry. The service is offered to those
homeowners that leave our area for a vacation - either for
a long term or just a short break - and various options
can be selected from our list. This service ensures that
the home is looked after whilst the owners are away, and
is made ready for their return. Details available on request.

It's feeling very Autumnal
now; there's a definate nip in the air & most of the
leaves have been blown off our trees by the fierce winds
(and rain) that has been pounding us for days now....the
bird feeders have been restocked & are full of beautiful
finches. The deer have been calling, and my bees are a lot
less active now - they've been given their 1st Winter feed.
